Despite the daily routine of our staff and the long-term experience of AFS Aviation Fuel Services GmbH, we permanently remain aware of our duty to operate responsibly with hazardous substances in a sensitive environment. For this reason, every measure to avoid accidents is justified. This applies to the protection of human health, plant & equipment, and the environment.
We consistently and systematically take steps to ensure safety at work, health protection and that equipment and vehicles are in immaculate condition. We take the directives for handling environmentally harmful substances very seriously and, being a member of the Energy Institute (EI) and of the Technical Fuel Group (TFG) of the IATA, we continue to develop them in coordination with the Joint Inspection Group in accordance with state-of-the-art technology.
Our own management programme ASA “Arbeiten Sicher Ausführen” (carrying out work safely) is considered exemplary and augments the external controls and international safety standards for aircraft refuelling operations and fuel storage management.
