Sustainability is one of the key drivers for AFS. Across all operational activities – whether on the apron or at the fuel farms – our processes are continuously reviewed and optimized with sustainability in mind. Reducing CO₂ emissions is not a one-time effort, but an ongoing commitment embedded in everything we do. With the introduction of e-dispensers, we achieve near-zero emissions, eliminate oil consumption and leakage, reduce noise levels, and ensure no exhaust gases are released during refueling.

Their batteries can be charged with green electricity, and maintenance is limited to the battery system itself. In addition, our bowser fleet is fully HVO-ready according to manufacturer specifications, all vehicles built from 2005 onward are suitable for HVO fuel. As more airports switch their vehicle fueling stations to HVO, we are able to further reduce our carbon footprint.
